Based upon my experience as a revert to Islam, I feel I have the responsibility to inform anyone who may have an interest in the religion of Islam whether for academic research or to become a Muslim, based upon the fact that the Messenger of Allah Mohammed (PBUH) to whom the religion was revealed, made two very important statements that I would like to bring to the attention of every one domestically or globally who has any interest in the religion of Islam.
As for me one of the lessons I have learned as a wife, and I would like to give this advice to my sisters and anyone going through marital problems and is thinking about divorce. Please, remember the day you got marry and reflect on the happiness you felt. Then think about the things you did that brought about that situation and feeling of joy and tranquillity. So the advice is, simply go back to that first experience
Now that I have remarried my wife after we got divorce one of the most important lessons I have learned from this experience is how important my wife was, and is, to me. I now realised that in the past I took a lot for granted which led to the divorce. In the past, I would have expected her to wash, cook, and clean look after the baby without realising that she can be as tired as I am. Now, this is something of the past and now we help each other. I am also glad that we are remarried for I have learned from the mistakes of the past.
